About Simmons Fence
“Three Generations of Pride in Craftsmanship”
Simmons Fence is a family company owned by Dennis and Sue Simmons. “My dad, Dan Simmons, was the one who first got into the fence business in the mid to late 50’s.” Dan’s father, Henry Simmons, soon joined him in the business. Other family members, including an uncle, James Simmons and Dennis’s younger brother Dan Jr. also joined them in the industry, each forming their own companies. Dennis’s brother in law Chris works for Dan Jr. This truly makes this a “Three Generation” fence family. In the early years, they did a lot of work for Sears Roebuck and Montgomery Ward.
When Dennis graduated from Parker high school in 1978, Simmons Fence was founded. Soon afterward, his wife Sue joined him in the business. The mission of Simmons Fence was the same today as in 1978. We strive to give our customers the highest quality products on the market today. Along with products, comes quality workmanship from the finest professional installers in the industry. Simmons Fence is proud to be a member of the American Fence Association. This is a professional organization consisting of members of the fencing, railing and decking industry.
"Certified Fence Professional”
The AFA has a rigorous certification program that recognizes individuals that have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to quality products and improving standards within the fence industry. A Certified Fence Professional (CFP) will have a good understanding of specifications, product quality and installation techniques that will help assure a first-class product for the consumer. A CFP must meet a continuing education requirement as well as industry service requirements to maintain this certificate. Dennis Simmons and Eric Thurler are our outside salespeople that have both earned this certification.
